Sunday School Classes begin at 9:45 am
  • Adult Bible Studies (meets in the Helen Hines Room)
  • Fidelis Sunday School Class
  • Bible Explorers (elementary age ... meets downstairs)
 
Sunday Morning Worship begins at 11:00 am.
Sunday Evening Worship begins at 5:00 pm.
 
Sacrament of Holy Communion is open to all who wish to partake. Communion is also available to our church family and friends that are homebound or in other facilities. It is observed the first Sunday of every month.

All Wednesdays except Wednesday's that school is out: Choir Rehearsal  6:00 PM
 
A.C.T.S. Youth Program (K-12) and Adult Groups - 6:45 PM
 
 
  
 A.C.T.S. (Action for Christ Through Service) is a weekly Wednesday evening Preschool -12 program that offers spiritual growth for our children and youth as they experience Christian love through this special time of learning and activities.
 
 
  
 

  
 
United Methodist Women (UMW): The UMW at Newbern FUMC meets monthly at 1:30 PM on the 3rd Wednesday for an opportunity to plan, discuss and share while supporting local and global missions.
  
 
  
Senior Ladies Game Day at 11:30 AM each Wednesday is open to all women of senior age to spend a day each month playing games, enjoying each other's company, lunching together, laughing and sharing a special time of fellowship. Church Family and Friends Fellowship Gatherings are planned throughout the year.
 
 

 
 Seasonal programs are presented throughout the year.
 

 
Hanging of the Greens is a ceremony in preparation for Advent and is a beautiful service at Christmas.
 

 
  Youth trips are planned during the year to offer a unique time to share and experience Christian love with youth from other areas.
